What does National Poetry Month mean to you?
“Spring – a great time to pause and appreciate the beauty in things. For me that means nature and poetry.”
What is your favorite poem? Why?
“For the record, I don’t have a favorite poem. At the moment, I am loving the anthology “American Fifty Poems for Our Time” selected and introduced by Tracy K. Smith (Poet Laureate of the United States). I like contemporary poetry – written in the last few years – that has specificity that brings the reader into the time and place.”.
