How many years have you been in this position?
I have been in this role since October but have been working at BCS in the main office for a year.
What is your experience working in this role?
Although I am new in this role. I have been working with your for 20+ years. I love working with and learning from young people.
Who inspired you?
My dad inspired me and taught me that hard work pays off. He always encouraged me to think broader.
What is one of the toughest things you have faced in your career?
One of the toughest things I have faced in my work with young people is thinking that I can save everyone. I don’t like seeing kids go down the wrong path. However, I have come to accept that if I can save one child, then that is a job well done.
What did you want to be when you were younger?
At first I wanted to be a singer. When I got older, I wanted to be a lawyer.
What words of advice do you have for the younger generation?
Don’t give up so easily. You’ll get 100 no’s before you get one yes. Be patient.
